Yup 1st May 1994, what a day, then again what a weekend. I can still vividly picture the. Senna gave millions of his fortune (estimated at $400 million when he died) to help provide a better future for the underprivileged in Brazil. It remains Formula 1's blackest weekend. When I lament Ayrton Senna's death, I get angry with myself. As an F1 fan, the death of Ayrton Senna on that black weekend at Imola 17 years ago was one of those 'JFK moments'.
